TROUBLESHOOTING TIPS IF YOUR EXPERIENCING BUFFERING
** IF YOU'RE USING MORE TVS THEN YOUR ALLOTED, THIS WILL GUARANTEE LAGGING- PLEASE ADD MORE CONNECTIONS TO YOUR ACCOUNT FOR BETTER STREAMING**

We are no longer providing support for 3rd party apps.  We highly recommend deleting any older previous app and installing our TEKIPTV App.   Your app icon should be blue and say Tekiptv.  We recommend upgrading your app before continuing the troubleshooting tips.

IF YOUR APP DOESN'T OPEN- IF YOUR HAVING ISSUES WITH THE TEKIPTV APP NOT OPENING, RESTART YOUR FIRESTICK.
EXPERIENCING BUFFERING ON ONLY ONE OF YOUR DEVICES- REBOOT YOUR DEVICE.
RECEIVING ERROR CODE ON ALL LIVE CHANNELS OR MISSING NUMEROUS CHANNELS- WHILE IN THE APP, GO TO THE SETTINGS MENU, SELECT PLAYLIST, UPGRADE YOUR PLAYLIST.   IF YOUR PLAYLIST FAILS TO UPDATE; DELETE YOUR CURRENT PLAYLIST AND THEN RE-ADD IT BACK. (IF PLAYLIST STILL FAILS TO PROCESS, 1: CHECK TO MAKE SURE YOUR INFORMATION IS CORRECT, 2: IF YOU ARE USING A VPN, MAKE SURE IT IS OFF DURING THE SIGNIN STAGE.
IF YOU ARE USING A VPN AND HAVING BUFFERING ISSUES, OR UNABLE TO SIGNIN; TURN YOUR VPN OFF. 
 ADDING A VPN IS HELPFUL BUT IS NOT NECESSARY. 
A VPN COULD BE HELPFUL WHEN CONSTANT BUFFERING OCCURS.
VPN TIPS: WE RECOMMEND USING SURFSHARK APP BUT ANY VPN APP SHOULD WORK. 
IF YOU SUDDENDLY EXPERIENCE BUFFERING ON ALL CHANNELS OR IF THE APP DOESNT LOAD WHILE USING A VPN (CHANGE YOUR VPN LOCATION OR TRY TURNING OFF YOUR VPN)

LAGGING WITH A PREVIOUS WATCHED MOVIE OR TV SERIES - GO INTO YOUR FIRESTICK SETTINGS, THEN APPLICATIONS, SELECT MANAGE APPS, SELECT YOUR TEKIPTV APP THEN CLEAR THE CACHE. 

MAKE SURE YOU ARE USING A FIRESTICK FROM 2021 OR NEWER
(FIRESTICK 4K OR MAX  IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED FOR MAXIMUM VIEWING)

IF ALL YOUR DEVICES ARE LAGGING.  AND THE OTHER STEPS DIDNT WORK. TRY REBOOTING YOUR MODEM, THEN ROUTER, THEN YOUR DEVICE.  THIS WILL GIVE A FRESH IP STREAM.


 

PROBLEMS WITH SPECIFIC LIVE CHANNELS

There are times a specific channel/movie/series is causing issues.

- If you are having issue with a specific channel. Almost all channels have duplicate stations. These are made to give us time to correct issues, use the search option to find an alternate version of that channel. ALSO TRY THE ALTERNATE SERVER.

-It is possible some channels just may not work, you may email us with the problem you are having with a channel, and we will contact our technical support team to look into issue.
